Cami Cowart is a lifelong member of our community and a proud Santa Fe High School graduate, Cami brings 27 years of nursing experience to our practice.  
Her healthcare journey began at Florida Gateway College, where she earned her Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in 1995, her Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in 1998, and her Registered Nurse (RN) in 2003. She later continued her education at Chamberlain University, earning her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) in 2019 and her Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) in 2021. Cami is board certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.
While working towards her RN, Cami spent two years gaining valuable experience in a nursing home setting, providing compassionate care to long-term and rehabilitation patients.  Throughout her career, Cami has primarily worked in medical office settings, caring for patients aged 18 and older with a focus on providing compassionate, personalized healthcare. She also has specialized experience in transitional care management, dedicating one year to helping patients successfully transition from hospital to home. Additionally, Cami obtained her Hormone Pellet Therapy Certification in 2022, expanding her expertise in wellness and hormone optimization.
Outside of her work, Cami is happily married to her high school sweetheart, Stacy—Celebrating almost 33 years together— and they are proud parents of two wonderful daughters, Samantha and Calyssa. In her free time, she loves cheering on the Florida Gators, making magical memories at Disney World, and spending quality time with her family and friends.
With her strong hometown roots, a passion for excellent patient care, and a heart for this community, Cami is excited to continue serving the place she calls home. Please join us in giving her a warm welcome to our office, where she’ll be offering Telehealth services to our amazing community.
